Sid Sarava

Greetings Everyone, I’m Sid Sarava and my blog, SidSarava.com is about how to “Achieve Your Goals more Effectively with Analysis Driven Personal Development.”

In recent years I have adopted Getting Things Done and enjoy the freedom and peace of mind it provides.  I continue to maintain my social circle and physical fitness.  As I became more knowledgeable about goal setting and self improvement, I set out to share what I had learned on a small scale.  To that end, for the past 10 years have mentored high school and college students – personal mentoring, as well as seminars.  My seminars and mentoring focus on active goal setting and techniques for achieving your goals.

Even more recently, I picked up Tim Ferris’ book The 4-Hour Work Week.  While the information is available piecemeal elsewhere, Ferris’ book did a great job of tying all the pieces together for me. Lately my focus has been time management, and specifically, eliminating various inefficiencies in my life.

Why Start a Blog?

I have been very fortunate to have had the right people, books and inspiration come to me at critical cross roads in my life.  I want to share what I have learned to a larger group than what is possible in my daily face to face interactions.  My hope is that by sharing what I had learned with readers, I will perhaps inspire you and provide you with the tools you need to improve yourself and your own life.
